Frame & Powder Coating
All of our coverings are powder-coated for excellent longevity, resisting chipping, fading and rust. The frame comes in standard Pure White, Anthracite Grey, and Jet Black options, however for large orders custom RAL colours are available.

What’s the maximum wind resistance for my awning?
When correctly cared for, our awnings can withstand winds up to Beaufort Force 5 - that’s fresh breeze conditions up to 24 mph. However, we would advise not to leave your awning out in any windy conditions.
Can my awning work with smart home systems?
Yes. When equipped with Somfy motorisation, our awnings integrate with smart home systems, weather sensors, and remote controls.
Is my awning waterproof?
At curtain call, all of our awnings are water resistant, meaning they can only sustain light rainfall and may be damaged by heavy rainfall.
How much is an awning?
The starting price of an awning is £1999 + VAT
What is the lifespan of an awning?
25+ years, when correctly cared for.
Do I need planning permission for an awning?
No, planning permission is not required in most cases. If unsure, please contact your local council.
Can I retract my awning if it’s wet?
You can retract your awning if it is wet, but as soon as it is okay to, let your awning out to dry.
How do I clean my awning?
Brush off dry dirt first. Then gently scrub with a brush using either Wet and forget or fairy liquid and luke warm water. You can also use a gentle hose, making sure not to use a power hose as this may bow the fabric.

What warranty comes with Curtain Call awnings?
We offer a 5-year guarantee on structural components and a 10-year fabric warranty against rot and fade.
Are your awnings made to measure?
Yes. All Curtain Call awnings are made to measure with width requirements from under 2 meters up to a maximum of 6 meters, with projection options ranging from 1.6m to 4.1m.
Can I customise my awning?
Definitely! We offer hundreds of UV-stable, water-resistant acrylic options. These aren’t generic fabrics, they’re specifically chosen for their durability in British weather conditions. And with striped, plain or even bespoke fabric patterns to choose from, there’s something to suit every project. Homeowners with more disposable income will appreciate an awning with all the bells and whistles: motorisation, weather sensors, and patio heaters with LED lighting for outdoor entertaining into the evening.
Are Curtain Call awnings suitable for commercial high traffic areas?
Absolutely. The heavy-duty chain-link arms are tested for thousands of cycles, making it ideal for frequent daily use in commercial settings.
What is the turn around time?
Our turn around time varies with every season, during the warmer months our lead time can be very high. To get the best lead times, we recommend ordering your awning between January and April.

Yes all of our awnings are made and manufactured in the UK.
